Laurent Perrachon & Fils

Martine & Laurent are the fifth, and Maxime & Adrien the sixth, generation of winegrowing Perrachons in Beaujolais, but they trace family roots in the region back to 1601! Since taking over the family operation in 1988, Laurent has worked tirelessly to expand improve the family vineyards, eliminating chemical inputs and bringing out the personality and geology of individual sites. The Beaujolais Villages is pure pleasure in the glass, while the vineyard-designated cru wines show compelling depth & complexity and can improve with some time in the cellar. Recently, the family has renewed ancestral ties in the Mâcon, reacquiring old-vine vineyards and bottling a sublime Pouilly-Fuissé.
