Best Case Wines - Robert Morey

Robert Morey

After more than 15 years in wine retail, Robert started Best Case Wines in 2011. Something of a luddite, Robert sees wine as an antidote, or at least a counterbalance, to a too-fast, too-fraught, too-teched world. Wine cannot be enjoyed in a hurry, and it is most fully enjoyed with good food among good company. Robert’s other interests include cooking & eating food, reading, spending time with family, and trying to improve his French.

Best Case Wines - Andrew McLaughlin

Andrew McLaughlin

Andrew first became interested in wine while working for a gourmet grocery during his university years. After graduating, his passion for food, wine, and their intersection transformed to a career path. Against the common misperception that good wines have to be expensive, Andrew seeks wines that interested people can both love and afford. “Wine doesn’t have to be complicated,” he says. “It’s a perfect companion to a meal, or a pleasure on its own, or an encapsulation of a faraway region’s history & culture.” Andrew’s other interests include trying new foods, learning about world history & culture, and spending time with family, friends, and dog, Murphy.
