Eric & Joël Durand

Brothers Eric & Joël Durand farm 54 acres in Saint-Joseph, Cornas, and St Peray: Syrah with a little Marsanne & Roussanne. Most of the vines at Domaine Durand were planted by their father, who sold grapes to négociants. Eric & Joël began bottling under the family name in 1991. The Syrahs are minerally, black-fruited, elegant expressions of Saint-Joseph & Cornas terroir; the whites are aromatic and graceful. The Domaine also produces a fantastic value-minded Syrah in Collines Rhodaniennes.
