Château l’Ermite d’Auzan

Since the 12th century, wine has been grown in the western Rhône Valley vineyards of Château l’Ermite d'Auzan, along the pilgrimage route of Santiago de Compostella. Alhough Nîmes is France’s warmest city, the hilly vineyards enjoy a microclimate benefiting from cool sea breezes in summer. As ninth-generation winegrower Jérôme Castillon shares more responsibility with his son Tanguy, the winery has transitioned from certified organic to biodynamic. The results speak for themselves, with wines that show more precision and elegance with each new vintage.
