Château de Millet

Francis & Lydie Dèche and their daughter Laurence are fifth- & sixth-generation proprietors of Château de Millet, devoted to Armagnac and wines in the Côtes de Gascogne. Farming traditional grape varieties with environmental stewardship, they produce dependable and delicious wines, including what I consider the single best-value white in our portfolio. The Floc de Gascogne, a blend of Armagnac with fresh grape juice (16.5% ABV), is a fantastic aperitif, with notes of fresh fruit, flowers, honey, and spice. Finally, their Armagnacs — available by special order from the Iowa Alcoholic Beverages Division (see NABCA order codes below) — are sublime.
