Charles Baur

The Baur family has lived in Eguisheim, at the heart of Alsatian wine country, for three hundred years. In 1950 Charles Baur started bottling his estate’s wines under his own name. Today, Charles’ son & grandson, Armand & Arnaud Baur, continue the family tradition with organic farming, hand harvesting, low-temperature fermentation with indigenous yeasts, and months-long maturation on the lees. The resulting wines elegantly balance fruit, minerality, and lively acidity.
