Cave de Tavel et de Lirac

Built in 1937, when Tavel was first named as a French wine appellation, this Cave Cooperative is the standard-bearer for the only denomination devoted exclusively to rosé wine (Tavel), as well as Lirac, an under-the-radar gem of value in the southern Rhône. Saint-Jérôme leads the way with organic certification. Domaine de Chantepierre has belonged to Christian Paly’s family for over 500 years, whose wines, all raised in stainless steel to emphasize the freshness and purity of the fruit, represent outstanding values from the Rhône Valley.
